Alexander Eisenach

Alexander Eisenach (* 1984 in Berlin ) is a German theater director and author . His works are performed at the Schauspiel Frankfurt , Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus , Theater Bonn , Schauspiel Hannover and at the Schauspielhaus Graz .

biography

Eisenach made his first directorial work at the Central Theater Leipzig, where he was assistant director to Sebastian Baumgarten and Sebastian Hartmann , among others . During this time Eisenach was involved in the production of Joseph Conrad's " Heart of Darkness ".

Under director Oliver Reese , Alexander Eisenach came to Schauspiel Frankfurt in 2013, where he became part of the newly founded directing studio whose aim was to promote young playwrights . The works ' Wälsungenblut ' based on Thomas Mann, "Fauser, mon amour" based on "Der Schneemann" by Jörg Fauser , and "Das Leben des Joyless Pleasure" were created as a separate piece. As a freelance director, Eisenach staged, among other things, his own text " Der Kalte Hauch des Geldes " in the Kammerspiele des Schauspiel Frankfurt, as well as "Planet Magnon" by Leif Randt at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus.

Between 2016 and 2019, Eisenach was the in-house director under the management of Lars-Ole Walburg at the Hanover Theater .
