Alexander Eschenbach

Alexander Eschenbach (born March 28, 1904 in Lawek , Upper Silesia , † August 18, 1993 in Stuttgart-Vaihingen ) was a German politician ( GB / BHE ).

Life

Eschenbach moved to the Second World War as a refugee to West Germany through and was on business as a merchant in Heilbronn and Stuttgart operates. In addition, he was chairman of the Federal Association of Wholesalers for Cellar and Brewery Articles.

In the first federal election in 1949 , Eschenbach ran unsuccessfully in the Heilbronn federal constituency for the emergency community of displaced persons. In 1950 he was one of the signatories of the Charter of German Expellees and shortly afterwards joined the BHE. He was a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament from April 9, 1954, when he replaced the resigned MP Karl Mocker , until the end of the 1956 legislative period . The Landtag elected him a member of the second Federal Assembly , which in 1954 re-elected Theodor Heuss as Federal President.
