Alexander Hasenclever (born August 6, 1918 in Orechowo-Sujewo near Moscow, † December 28, 1990 in Berlin ) was a German doctor and Berlin politician ( CDU ).

Life

Alexander Hasenclever studied medicine in Berlin and Rostock and was awarded a Dr. med. PhD. After working as an assistant doctor at the Berlin Charité and as a resident general practitioner and internist, he worked on the board of the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians in Berlin from 1957 to 1961 . From 1962 he was responsible for fee issues and questions relating to the reform of the system of statutory health insurance at the Berlin Medical Association . From 1967 to 1971 Hasenclever was President of the Berlin Medical Association.

From 1963 to 1967 and from 1969 to 1981 he was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives for the CDU . In 1984 he was appointed city ​​elder of Berlin for his services .

After his death he was buried in an honorary grave of the city of Berlin in the department IK-1.WR-Norden-12 at the Steglitz cemetery in Bergstrasse.
