Alexander Wiktorowitsch Ilitschewski
Alexander Wiktorowitsch Ilitschewski ( Russian Александр Викторович Иличевский ; born November 25, 1970 in Sumqayıt , then the Azerbaijani Soviet Socialist Republic ) is a Russian writer.
Life
From 1985 to 1987 Ilichevsky attended the Kolmogorow School of Physics and Mathematics, which is affiliated to Moscow's Lomonossow University . After completing his studies at the Faculty of Physics at Lomonosov University in 1993, he specifically taught theoretical physics at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology . Ilichevsky worked scientifically in Israel and California , where he had emigrated in the 1990s. After a trip to Amsterdam, he returned to Baku ( Azerbaijan ) in 1998. Ilichevsky has lived in Tel Aviv since 2013 ; his great-grandmother also emigrated to Israel, she lived in Jerusalem .
Since the 1990s Ilichevsky published a number of novels, some of which deal with the conditions in Russia at the time. He regularly publishes articles in Russian magazines such as Nowy Mir , Oktjabr , Ural , Commentarni and Soyuz Pisatelej . He is also the author of the Russian popular science portal Technologija-ZOO .
Ilichevsky also published short stories about his travels.
