Alexander Kolb (politician)

Alexander Kolb (* 1975 in Wertingen ) is a German local politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen )

Kolb studied business education at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and works as a teacher at the state vocational school center in Neusäß, Augsburg district.

In 2001 he joined the CSU and Junge Union (JU) and became district chairman of the JU in the Augsburg district. In 2009 he became district chairman of the JU in the Bavarian administrative district of Swabia and a member of the CSU parliamentary group in the Augsburg district assembly .

In 2011 he left the CSU / JU and switched to Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen on the grounds of the decision on the CSU's nuclear policy. He is a member of the district council for Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen.
