Alexander Kumptner
Alexander Kumptner (born June 3, 1983 in Vienna ) is an Austrian chef and TV chef .
Life
From 2001 to 2005, Kumptner completed his cooking apprenticeship with Werner Matt at the Hilton Vienna Plaza. He then worked for four years in Reinhard Gerer's restaurant Corso. During this time he also worked in various renowned restaurants in Germany for training and further education. Then he worked as a chef in Gerers K47 . From autumn 2011 to mid-2017, Alexander Kumptner was the head chef at the Albertina Passage restaurant in Vienna. He became known in particular through his appearances in cooking shows, for example in the ORF children's cookery show Schmatzo - Der Koch-Kids-Club and on Die Küchenschlacht on ZDF .
