Alexander Ladig (born July 21, 1974 in Schwerin ) is a former German handball player . He usually played in the left wing position .

Career

Since the 1991 season, Alexander Ladig played in the 1st men's team of SV Post Schwerin in the 2nd North Handball League . Most recently he was captain of the team. From the 2008/2009 season he also took over the coaching position for the upper league handball players at Banzkower SV. He moved to HC Empor Rostock for the 2010/2011 season . After his professional career, Ladig started his own catering company .

Ladig's father, Hans-Dieter Ladig , was also a successful handball player.
