Alexander Petrovich Chernoiwanow

Alexander Petrovich Tschernoiwanow ( Russian Александр Петрович Черноиванов ; born February 13, 1979 in Krasnodar , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a Russian handball player .

Life

The 2 meter tall and 95 kilogram heavy cyclist attended the Krasnodar handball school and started at SKIF Krasnodar in 1997 . He has been under contract with Medvedi Chekhov since 2004 , only playing in the second team and from summer 2006 in the first. With this club he was Russian champion from 2007 to 2015, he played in the 2004/05 to 2009/10 seasons in the EHF Champions League and in 2005/2006 in the European Cup Winners' Cup . Before that he played for SKIF Krasnodar until 2003.

Alexander Tschernoiwanow scored 232 goals in 116 international matches for the Russian national team (as of December 2016) and was in the squad for the 2008 Summer Olympics and the 2010 and 2012 European handball championships .

He graduated from the Russian University for Cooperation with a degree in economics in 2006. He is married and has two children.
