Alexander Pracher

Alexander Pracher (born November 4, 1913 in Aschaffenburg ; † March 29, 2000 ) was a German politician ( FDP , CDU ).

Life and work

Pracher was a physicist by profession. On March 7, 1938, member of the National Socialist Student Union . From 1938 also in the NSDAP . On November 24, 1942, presented Gau Mainfranken found that Pracher is politically reliable and a foreign worker may employ in his family. He was awarded the First Class Cross of Merit of the Federal Cross of Merit.

Political party

Initially, Pracher belonged to the FDP parliamentary group. He left it on January 20, 1952 and joined the German Collection the following day . On January 30, 1953, he then joined the CDU. After moving to Rhineland-Palatinate , he became chairman of the Seniors' Union in Boppard in the 1980s .

MP

From 1950 to 1954, Pracher was a member of the state parliament in Schleswig-Holstein . He represented the constituency of Oldenburg-West in parliament. The Landtag elected him a member of the second Federal Assembly , which on July 17, 1954 re-elected Theodor Heuss as Federal President.

Pracher was also a member of the city council of Neustadt in Holstein , where he was mayor from 1951 to 1955 and from 1959 to 1965.
