Alexander Wallau

Alexander Wallau (born July 19, 1820 , † May 12, 1882 in Lahr ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Alexander Wallau studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1840 he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Heidelberg . After graduating, he was a legal intern from 1844 to 1848 and a lawyer from 1848 to 1868. In 1868 he switched to the administrative service in Baden and was appointed senior bailiff and board member of the Kenzingen district office . In 1871 he moved to the district office of Donaueschingen as an official director . In 1877 he became the head of the Lahr district office and city director in Lahr. He held the dual office until his death in 1882.
