Alexander Vladimirovich Martynov

Alexander Wladimirowitsch Martynow ( Russian Александр Владимирович Мартынов ; born January 12, 1981 in Tiraspol , Moldovan SSR ) is a Transnistrian politician.

Martynov was on 17 December 2016, following the findings presidential election of Vadim Nikolaevich Krasnosel'skii , succeeding Pavel Prokudin Prime Minister of the internationally unrecognized country.

Life

Martynov graduated summa cum laude from the University of Information Technology and Law in Tiraspol and was then a student at the Academy for Economic Studies in Kishinev and the Russian Academy for Economics and Public Administration in Moscow .

He then worked in the private sector, including in Kiev , Moscow and Transnistria. He later became head of the Tax Policy and Accounting Office of the Transnistrian Ministry of Finance and adviser to the President of the Parliament.

Martynow is married and has one daughter.
