Sanzay is a village in the French department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The formerly independent municipality was merged with Argenton-Château and Boësse to form the new municipality of Argenton-les-Vallées with effect from January 1, 2006 . On September 1, 2016, this merged with Le Breuil-sous-Argenton , La Chapelle-Gaudin , La Coudre , Moutiers-sous-Argenton and Ulcot to form Commune nouvelle Argentonnay .
