Alexander von Beulwitz

Alexander Christian Karl von Beulwitz (born November 3, 1783 in Erlbach , † April 22, 1854 ) was a German entrepreneur and royal Prussian chief forest master .

Life

He came from the Catholic branch of the Vogtland line of the Eastern nobility of Beulwitz and was born in Erlbach, Saxony. His parents were the Saxon chamberlain Alexander August von Beulwitz (1751-1822) and his wife Christine Sophie Magdalene von Schönberg from the Döhlen house.

Although he was a course axis from birth, he entered the service of the King of Prussia and became head forester. As the owner of the steelworks Mariahütte , Hubertushütte etc. he was accepted as a knight of honor in the Order of St. John .

He married on January 31, 1826 in Trier Susanne Gottbill († 1871), who came from there. He died in the city on the Moselle at the age of 71. The couple had several children who continued their father's smelting works:
