Alexander von Brünneck

Alexander von Brünneck (born June 13, 1941 in Hermersdorf , Lebus district ) is a German legal scholar and emeritus university professor.

Life

Alexander von Brünneck studied law at the universities of Munich , London , Paris and Berlin . In 1968 he passed the first state examination and in 1971 the second state examination. In 1971 he became a research assistant and in 1974 an academic councilor at the Technical University of Hanover . After receiving his doctorate in 1976 at the University of Frankfurt a. M. on political justice against communists in the Federal Republic of Germany , he completed his habilitation in 1984 in Hanover. At times he was the author of the journal Kritische Justiz .

He taught at the European University Viadrina until the summer semester 2006 , where he held the chair for public law, in particular constitutional law and constitutional history. On the occasion of his 70th birthday, a commemorative publication entitled Reflecting on Property was dedicated to him.

Von Brünneck is a member of the Association of German Constitutional Law Teachers .
