Alexandra Munteanu

Alexandra Munteanu (born January 31, 1980 in Kronstadt ) is a former Romanian ski racer .

Munteanu started for the CSM Brașov . In 2001 she took part in a World Ski Championships for the first time . In St. Anton , Austria , she started in the downhill, Super G and giant slalom. In the Super G she was able to reach the 39th place, in the other two competitions she did not reach the goal.

In 2002 Munteanu took part in the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City , where she was the only Romanian starter in alpine skiing. She started in the downhill, in the Super G, in the giant slalom and in the combination. She achieved her best result in combination with 22nd place. She was 29th in the Super G, 33rd in the downhill and 41st in the giant slalom.
