life and work

“Alexandra Sukhareva creates installations and sculptures. Her works, which appear fragile and fragmentary and are held together by sensitive links (both literally and figuratively), are characterized by a wide range of historical, spiritual, philosophical, abstract and mathematical references. Stacked one on top of the other, leaning against one another in precarious equilibrium, loosely connected with thin nails and threads, the elements of their installations, the objects and materials from associations spin subtle stories. "

Sukhareva exhibits internationally, including participating in dOCUMENTA (13) in Kassel in 2012 and in Manifesta 10 in Saint Petersburg in 2014 .
