Alexandrino Cardoso da Cruz

Alexandrino Cardoso da Cruz (born September 5, 1972 in Fatululic , Cova Lima , Portuguese Timor ) is a politician from East Timor . He is a member of the FRETILIN party .

Cruz ran in the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2017 at number 27 on the FRETILIN list, but missed the direct entry into the national parliament of East Timor . But since elected MPs of FRETILIN waived their seat, Cruz moved into parliament in 2017. Here he was a member of the Commission for Economy and Development (Commission D). Since the minority government of FRETILIN and PD could not prevail in parliament, President Francisco Guterres dissolved it and called for new elections. In the early election on May 12, 2018, Cruz was able to re-enter parliament at number 14 on the FRETILIN list, where FRETILIN is now the strongest opposition party. Cruz represents his party again in the Commission for Economy and Development (D).
