Alexandru Lambrior
Alexandru Lambrior (* 12. January 1846 in Fălticeni ; † 20th September 1883 in Iasi ) was a Romanian ethnologist , linguist , Rumänist and grammarians.
life and work
Lambrior studied in Iaşi and became a high school history teacher. With a scholarship he studied from 1875 to 1878 in Paris at the École pratique des hautes études and on May 26, 1877 became a member of the Société de Linguistique de Paris . From 1879 until his untimely death he was a professor at the University of Iaşi. In 1882 the Romanian Academy elected him its corresponding member.
