Alexandru Solomon
Alexandru Solomon (born June 22, 1966 in Bucharest ) is a Romanian film director.
Life
Alexandru Solomon is a son of the writer and translator Petre Solomon (1923–1991) and the painter and art historian Yvonne Hasan (1925–2016). He is married to the film producer Ada Solomon .
Solomon studied camera at the National University of Theater and Film Arts "Ion Luca Caragiale" and initially made documentaries. In 2011, about Ion Luca Caragiale's time in Berlin, he shot the film Das Brot des Exils, with the film Ouăle Lui Tarzan nominated for the European University Film Award in 2018 .
