Aleksei Kruchenykh ( Russian Алексей Елисеевич Кручёных ;. Scientific transliteration Aleksej Eliseevič Kruchenykh ; born February 9, jul. / 21st February  1886 greg. In Olywske , province Kherson , in Ukraine ; † 17th June 1968 in Moscow ) was a Russian Silver Age poet and one of the most radical exponents of Futurism and member of the Hylea group . Together with Vladimir Mayakovsky , Dawid Burljuk and Velimir Chlebnikow he published the manifesto A Slap in the Face to General Taste ( Пощечина общественному вкусу ) in 1912 , which is considered the manifesto of Russian futurism. Together with Chlebnikow (prologue) and Mikhail Matjuschin (music), for decoration and costume designs by Kazimir Malevich , he was one of the authors of the "first futuristic opera" Victory over the Sun (Pobeda nad solnzem) and wrote the libretto . The key work of the Russian and European avant-garde was premiered on December 3, 1913 in Petersburg.

Together with Chlebnikow he developed the artificial language Zaum .

Krutschonych was married to the painter and poet Olga Rosanowa from 1912 until her untimely death in 1918 .

At the documenta 8 in Kassel in 1987 , recordings of him were shown as an official contribution to the exhibition as part of the “Archeology of Acoustic Art 1: Radiofonia Futurista”.
