Alexei Wassiljewitsch Sidorow ( Russian Алексей Васильевич Сидоров ; born January 2, 1969 ) is a former Russian biathlete .

Career

Sidorow only appeared internationally in 1997 . He made his World Cup debut in Oberhof and was 55th in the sprint and 49th in the pursuit. In Novosibirsk he was also 43rd in an individual and won his only World Cup points as 16th in a sprint, his last World Cup race. At the 1997 European Championships in Windischgarsten , he won the silver medal in the relay competition alongside Wladimir Bechterew , Andrei Padin and Eduard Rjabow behind the representation from Germany and in front of the Norwegians.
