Alf Kristoffer Tveten (born July 30, 1912 in Bærum , † July 13, 1997 in Ålesund ) was a Norwegian sailor .

successes

Alf Tveten, who for the Kongelig Norsk Seilforening sailed, took in 1936 at the Olympic Games in Berlin in the 6 meter class part. He was a crew member of the Lully II under skipper Magnus Konow , which finished the regatta taking place in the Olympic harbor Düsternbrook in Kiel in second place. Although the Lully II won three of the seven races, it was disqualified in the first race and accordingly received no points for this race. In the overall standings she scored 66 points, one point less than the Olympic champions from Great Britain on the Lalage , while the Swedish boat May Be came third with 62 points.
