Alfred Christlieb

Alfred Christlieb (born February 26, 1866 in Friedrichshafen , † January 21, 1934 in Heidberg ) was a German theologian.

Life

Christlieb, a son of the future Bonn theology professor Theodor Christlieb , attended grammar school in Gütersloh and studied in Basel, Bonn and Halle, where he came under the influence of Martin Kähler . During his studies he was a member of the 1889 Schwarzenburg Bund - connection Tuiskonia Hall . From 1896 to 1934 he was pastor in the Oberberg village of Heidberg . He was a nationally known preacher and pastor in Alliance circles , whose writings about his death had an impact.
