Alfred Gelbhaar (* 1880 - March 21, 1937 ) was a German football player .

Career

Gelbhaar belonged to the BTuFC Viktoria 89 , for which he was in the 1908/09 season as a striker and from 1909 to 1911 for the league competitor BFC Preussen as a defender in the Berliner Ballspielvereine association and the 1911/12 season in the Brandenburgischer Ballspielvereine association Berlin Championships was used.

With the BTuFC Viktoria 89 he became Berlin champion at the end of the 1908/09 season and accordingly took part in the final round of the German championship . He came on May 2, 1909 in the 12: 1 quarter -final victory at VfB Königsberg , on May 16, 1909 in Berlin in the 7-0 semi-final victory over Altonaer FC 93 and on May 30, 1909 in Breslau in the 2-4 final defeat against FC Phönix Karlsruhe .

With the BFC Preussen he won the Berlin championship again in 1910 and was only used in the quarter-finals of the German championship, as his team was defeated 1: 4 in Hamburg Holstein Kiel on April 17th . The 1911/12 season was played in two groups, of which the winners had to determine the Berlin champions in a final. Gelbhaar and his club emerged victorious from Group B and won 4-2 after the two- legged game against BTuFC Viktoria 89 , the winner of Group A. His last final game of the German championship he played again against Holstein Kiel, against the club he was again defeated on May 5, 1912 in the quarterfinals - this time with 1: 2.
