The Berlin soccer championship of the VBB 1908/09 was the twelfth Berlin soccer championship held under the Association of Berliner Ballspielvereine . This year's championship was played in a group of nine participants. The BTuFC Viktoria 89 prevailed by a large margin over the BFC Preussen and became Berlin soccer champions for the fourth time , of which the third time in a row. Due to the success, Viktoria Berlin was qualified for the German soccer championship 1908/09 . After a 12-1 away win in the quarter-finals against VfB Königsberg and a 7-0 success in the semifinals over Altonaer FC from 1893 , the Berlin team reached the final of the German football championship for the third time in a row. This year's final was lost to Karlsruher FC Phönix 2: 4.

The BFC Germania 1888 was relegated to 2nd class. In return, the BFC Rapide made it to 1st class.
