The Berlin Football Championship of VBB 1901/02 was the fifth under the Berlin Association ballgame teams (then under the name Association of German ballgame teams operating under the name (VDB)) discharged Berlin Football Championship . During this season, five teams from the German Football and Cricket Association switched to the VDB. For this reason, this year's championship was played in two groups of six teams each. The two group winners played the Berlin soccer champions of the VBB in final pairings . The BTuFC Viktoria 89 was able to prevail against the BTuFC Britannia in 1892 and became the Berlin soccer champion of the VBB for the first time. There has not yet been a football finals held throughout Germany this season. Since the championship for the coming season was played in a group of eight participants, four teams were relegated.
