Alfred Grevin

Alfred Grévin (born January 28, 1827 in Épineuil , † 1892 in Saint-Mandé ) was a French sculptor, caricaturist and painter of theatrical costumes. In 1882 he founded the Musée Grévin , the Paris wax museum, with the journalist Arthur Meyer . As a cartoonist, he worked for the satirical magazine La Revue Comique, among others .
