Alfred Herfurth

Alfred Robert Herfurth (born March 22, 1889 in Guhrau ; † November 11, 1946 ) was a German Chamber of Crafts syndic and member of the Baden state parliament .

Life

After attending the elementary school in Breslau and the state high school in Meran in South Tyrol , Herfurth did a commercial apprenticeship in Breslau from 1903 to 1905. He then studied economics, finance and political science in Munich and Erlangen . After receiving his doctorate in Erlangen in 1919, he was the managing counsel of the Constance Chamber of Crafts . In addition to other activities as a board member or member of various associations and bodies, Herfurth was politically active in Konstanz. From 1921 to 1925 he represented the Center Party in Constance as a member of the Baden state parliament .
