Alfred Loeffler

Alfred Löffler (born February 19, 1909 , † January 17, 1989 ) was a German politician ( center , later CDU ).

During the Weimar Republic Löffler belonged to the Center Party , after Germany's liberation from National Socialism , he joined the CDU. There he was the founder of the senior citizens' union .

In 1948 he was elected mayor of the then still independent municipality of Dottingen , which he held for several decades, including in the new municipality of Ballrechte-Dottingen after the regional reform in Baden-Württemberg . In 1949 he founded the building cooperative Neue Heimat , and in 1964 the fruit region South , which at that time comprised five districts in southern Baden .

From 1950 to 1983 he was a member of the district council of the district of Freiburg , from 1956 to 1976 he represented the constituency of Freiburg-Land as a directly elected member of the state parliament , where he chaired the "agricultural food committee".
