Alfred Maußner

Alfred Maußner is a German economist .

Life

Maußner studied from 1976 to 1981 economics at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (diploma). In 1984 he was at Joachim Klaus with a thesis on stabilization policy in the light of balance and imbalance theory to Dr. rer. pole. PhD. Research stays took him to the University of Georgia and the University of California, Los Angeles . In 1990 he completed his habilitation with the thesis Monopolistic Price Formation and Demand Expectations in Macroeconomic Models . In 1992 he became professor for economic political science at the University of Cologne . From 1996 to 2000 he was then professor for economics, particularly economic policy , at the Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg . In 2000 he was offered the chair for empirical macroeconomics at the University of Augsburg .
