Alfred Muzzarelli
Alfred Muzzarelli (born February 27, 1890 in Wiener Neustadt ; † May 5, 1958 in Schruns ) was an Austrian opera singer ( bass baritone ).
Life
As the son of a family connected with the theater for generations, Alfred Muzzarelli attended high school in Wiener Neustadt, where he became a member of the Nibelungia fraternity . He studied chemistry in Vienna. During his studies he became a member of the Libertas fraternity in Vienna in 1911 . He received his musical training at the Vienna Music Academy . From 1919 until the end of his life he was engaged at the Vienna State Opera . He also appeared at the Salzburg Festival for a number of years .
