Alfred Prezewowsky (born November 24, 1931 in Falkenau , Grottkau district , Upper Silesia; † June 17, 1999 ) was a German trade unionist and politician ( SPD ).

Life

Prezewowsky completed an apprenticeship as a motor vehicle mechanic and worked as a locksmith and welder. In 1957 he joined the SPD. He trained in trade union institutions and was chairman of the works council until 1972 . In 1972 he became managing director of the IG Metall administration office in Kiel , and in 1976 he became the first authorized representative. In 1967 he was elected to the Landtag of Schleswig-Holstein in the state electoral district of Kiel-Nord . Prezewowsky also won a direct mandate in the 1971 and 1975 elections in the Kiel-West state electoral district . In 1979 he moved into the state parliament via the SPD state list . Among other things, he was a member of the Committee for Labor and Development, the Economic Committee, the Social Committee and the Examining Committee for the Women's Clinic. In 1983 he left the state parliament.

Among other things, he was state chairman of the Working Group for Employee Issues (AfA) in Schleswig-Holstein and a member of the AfA federal board.

Prezewowsky was married, had three children and lived in Kiel.
