Alfred Schmitt-Batiston

Alfred Schmitt-Batiston (* July 7, 1830 , † March 15, 1881 ) was an Alsatian landowner and member of the Reichstag of the German Empire .

Life

Schmitt-Batiston was a landowner in Röschwoog , Hagenau district . From 1878 until his death in 1881 he was a member of the Reichstag for the constituency of Alsace-Lorraine 10 ( Hagenau , Weißenburg ). Like the other Alsace-Lorraine MPs, he did not belong to any parliamentary group in the Reichstag.
