Alfred Steiner

Alfred Paul Steiner (born April 23, 1930 in Hürbel ) is a German educator and politician ( SPD ).

Life

Alfred Steiner was born the son of a teacher. After graduating from high school, he studied German , history and French . He passed the examination for teaching at secondary schools and later worked as a teacher at the Hans-Multscher-Gymnasium in Leutkirch in the Allgäu , most recently as director of studies.

Steiner joined the SPD and was a member of the municipal council in Leutkirch and district councilor in the Ravensburg district . He was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg from September 17, 1974, when he replaced the retired MP Oscar Pauli , until 1976. In parliament he represented a second mandate for the constituency of Wangen .

Alfred Steiner is married and has four children.
