Alfred Zesiger

Alfred Zesiger (* 1882 ; † July 7, 1929 ) was a Swiss historian and editor .

Zesiger received his doctorate as Dr. phil. and worked from 1910 to 1914 as an adjunct of the State Archives of the Canton of Bern . From 1919 to 1920 he was the editor of the Historical-Biographical Lexicon of Switzerland in Neuchâtel . He wrote several publications on Bernese societies and guilds, an anthology on Rudolf Münger and the Mittelleuen booklet (1919). His estate is in the Bern Burger Library .
