Ali Kemal Aydın

Ali Kemal Aydın (* 1965 in Tercan , Erzincan Province ) is a Turkish diplomat and since 2016 Ambassador of the Turkish Republic to Germany ; its predecessor Huseyin Avni Karslioglu was because of the Bundestag - Resolution to recognize the Turkish massacre of Armenians as genocide withdrawn from Germany.

Aydın studied International Relations at Ankara University and has worked in the diplomatic service since 1986. After completing his studies in 1986, he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs . From 2005 to 2009 he was Consul General in Syrian Aleppo . From September 2, 2011 to September 15, 2013 he was the Turkish ambassador in Tripoli ( Libya ). He then became Deputy State Secretary for Bilateral Political Affairs and African Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On November 15, 2016 he was appointed ambassador to Berlin .
