Ali Suliman

Ali Suliman (born October 10, 1977 in Nazareth ) is an Israeli actor of Arab-Palestinian descent.

Life

Ali Suliman had a great interest in the performing arts early on, which is why he attended the Tel Aviv Drama School, which he graduated in 2000. He later joined the Commedia Dell'Arte in London. Suliman has been active in film and television since 1996. First he played a small role in the film Chronicle of the Disappearances . Other supporting roles followed in films such as The Syrian Bride and Paradise Now .

In 2007 he starred alongside Jamie Foxx as Sgt. Haytham in Operation: Kingdom . In 2011 he played a recurring role as Abu-Hassan Mohammed in the mini-series Promised Land and also appeared in Homeland . In 2013 he played a prominent supporting role as Gulab in the war film Lone Survivor alongside Mark Wahlberg . In 2018 he took on a supporting role in the miniseries The Looming Tower .

In 2018 he played the main character "Mousa bin Suleiman" in the first season of the American action series Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan .
