The Aliança do Bom Lar ( Portuguese for Alliance for a Good Home , Chinese 美好 家園 聯盟 ) is a political party in the Macau Special Administrative Region within the People's Republic of China . Since the 2017 general election , the party has had a seat in the Macau Legislative Assembly .
history
Since 1991, the Associação Geral das Mulheres de Macau ( Portuguese for Macau Women's Association , Chinese 澳門 婦女 聯合 總會 ) together with the União Geral das Associações dos Moradores de Macau ( Portuguese for General Association of the Inhabitants of Macau , Chinese 澳門 街坊 聯合 聯合 總會 ) participated in parliamentary elections in Macau as União Promotora para o Progresso . For the 2017 parliamentary election, however, the Associação Geral das Mulheres de Macau with the Aliança do Bom Lar drew up its own electoral list and gained 9,496 votes or 5.50% and a seat in the Legislative Assembly.
Alignment
Aliança do Bom Lar has a strong focus on family policy . In the election campaign , for example, the party called for a billion Macau patacas to be spent on family policy in the future . Other requests include a maternity allowance of 10,000 Macanese Pataca, more kindergarten places , a five-day paternity leave , higher marriage and care allowances and preferential terms for the initial purchase of homes , to forestall families against real estate companies when buying an apartment. In addition, the expansion of the health system is required. The extensive demands for social change together with membership of the pro-Beijing camp position Aliança do Bom Lar in the socially conservative area .
