Alice Mizzau (born March 18, 1993 in Udine ) is an Italian swimmer from Friuli Venezia Giulia . She used to live in Beano di Codroipo in Friuli Venezia Giulia. She currently lives and trains in San Marino under the direction of her trainer Max di Mito. Since December 2011 she has been a member of the Fiamme Gialle association.
successes
Mizzau specializes in freestyle . At the 2009 European Junior Swimming Championships, Alice Mizzau won silver in the 4 × 100 m freestyle relay . At the Italian Championships she won several medals: once gold, four times silver and twice bronze in the relay and in the individual run. The young athlete won three medals at the European Championships in Debrecen in 2012: gold in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay , silver in 4 × 100 m medley and bronze in the 4 × 100 m freestyle relay . In the individual run, she reached fourth place and just missed the podium.
She qualified for the 2012 London Olympics , where she competed in the 4 × 100 m freestyle relay and 4 × 200 m freestyle relay . There she set the Italian record in the 4 × 100 season with Federica Pellegrini , Laura Letrari and Erika Ferraioli with a time of 3: 39.74, so they finished 12th.
