Alicia Banit (born September 5, 1990 ) is an Australian actress , model and dancer .

Life

Alicia Banit grew up in Sydney. She started dancing at an early age. In 1998 she received her first role as an actress. In the Australian film Dead Letter Office - Address Unknown , she portrayed the younger version of the lead role played by Miranda Otto . In 2006 she starred as Madison Sullivan in two episodes of the Australian soap opera Neighbors . In 2008 she played the role of Sharni Hillman for two episodes in the same series. From 2007 to 2011, she had several appearances as Amber in the Australian version of the Disney Channel's As the Bell Rings series . In 2007 she was engaged for the mockumentary series Summer Heights High by the Australian author and comedian Chris Lilley . Here she played the role of Kaitlyn. In 2008, Banit starred in an episode of the action series Rush as Gemma Rose. She played Leah in six episodes of the first season of the Australian drama Tangle . After many supporting roles, she became the main role of Katrina "Kat" Karamakov in the youth series Dance Academy - Dance Your Dream! committed, with which she became known beyond the borders of Australia.
