Alida Rustichelli (born October 23, 1943 in Carpi , Emilia-Romagna , † December 14, 2012 in Rome ) was an Italian actress and singer .

Life

As the daughter of the film composer Carlo Rustichelli, Chelli came into contact with show business, especially the music scene, at an early age and took part in television programs and musical comedies at the theater as a teenager. In 1959 her first single was released, which is also connected to her first appearance in the cinema: Her father wrote the title track for Un maledetto imbroglione . Several publications followed at irregular intervals, most recently in 1985.

On television she then replaced Mina, who was actually intended for moderation, on the show Volabile . After studying at the Accademia d'Arte Drammatica , she mainly played on stage, but also again in television games. Successful stage plays were Buonanotte Bettina , Rugantino (with Enrico Montesano ), Cielo, mio ​​marito! , Cyrano (with Domenico Modugno ) and others. Right at the beginning of her career, she met Walter Chiari , whose partner she became for many years. In 1969 the two married; a common son sprang from this connection.

In the mid-1980s, Chelli returned to television and had a success with the show Ci pensiamo lunedi 1983/84 alongside Renzo Montagnani ; the following year, the similar format Supersera followed .

Chelli's film career is limited (in addition to a role in 1981) to a handful of mostly comedic works between 1965 and 1969.
