Alin Cristian Oprea (born July 11, 1986 in Bucharest ) is a Berlin based film music composer , pianist , sound engineer and director of music videos.

Career

After working as a music producer , arranger and keyboard player in the "U7 Media Network" in Germany and the USA, he completed his studies with honors as a sound engineer / sound designer at the University of Film and Television in Potsdam / Babelsberg . He studied piano at the Rostock University of Music and Theater as well as a master's degree in film music at the University of Film and Television Babelsberg .

Oprea's compositions have been recorded by several renowned orchestras and ensembles, such as the Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg under the direction of Bernd Wefelmeyer , the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich under the direction of Frank Strobel , the Georgien Sinfonietta Ensemble. and the piano trio "Some Handsome Hands".

As a sound designer and sound engineer, he was involved in several major film productions, such as the film adaptation of the novel Die Vermessung der Welt , directed by Detlev Buck (2012).
