Alina (singer)
Alina Wichmann (* 1985 ) is a German singer and songwriter . Her debut album Die Einzige was released in October 2017 and immediately hit the top 100 in the German charts .
Life
Alina grew up in a musical family in the Black Forest . At 14 she played in a school band. At the age of 16 she took part in the first season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar , where she was eliminated from the top 30. After graduating from high school, she studied literature, art and media studies at the University of Konstanz . She moved to the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg in Mannheim , where she studied songwriting. After two years she dropped out of her studies and moved to Berlin . In 2014 she had to undergo vocal cord surgery. Then she appeared again. After one of their songs was remixed by producers Dasmo and Mania in 2015, a continuous collaboration with the two began. Their first single was released in September 2017, followed by their first album a month later.

Alina has been influenced by Alexandra and Mariah Carey , among others, since her childhood and youth . Other musicians who have shaped your work include Zarah Leander , Hildegard Knef , Michael Jackson and Chris Isaak . Most of her songs are composed and written by herself, often in collaboration with members of her band or other musicians like Ali Zuckowski . On October 20, 2017, their first album, Die Einzige , was released, which made it into the German album charts. The songs on the album are largely autobiographical.
