The Alison Ice Stream is a 13 km long ice stream on the Bryan Coast of West Antarctica Ellsworthland . It flows south of the Wirth Peninsula into Eltanin Bay .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2003 after Alison Cook of the British Antarctic Survey , a computer specialist on the US-UK project to create glaciological maps and coastal changes on the Antarctic Peninsula in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
