Alissos ( Greek Αλισσός ( m. Sg. )) Is a local community in the region of western Greece , about 20 km southwest of Patras . The closest villages are Kato Achaia to the west and Kaminia to the northeast. The place is about 600 m south of the Autobahn 9 . The actual village of Alissos had a population decline from 1991 to 2011 from 1,073 to 418.
The localities of Kamenitsa, Paralia Alissou and Profitis Elisseos belong to the local community of Alissos in the municipality of Dymi in the municipality of Dytiki Achaia .
