Aljaksandr Babchyn ( Belarusian Аляксандр Бабчын ; born October 15, 1986 ) is a Belarusian biathlete .

Aljaksandr Babtschyn made his international debut at the start of the 2011/12 season in Östersund in the IBU Cup , where he finished 22nd in a sprint and immediately won points for the first time. A week later, the debut in the biathlon world cup followed in the same place , in which the Belarusian was 73rd of an individual. Two days later, he won World Cup points for the first time as 37th of the sprint. At the next World Cup station in Hochfilzen , Babchyn came to the side of Sjarhej Novikau , Uladzimir Aljanischka and Jauhen Abramenka for his first relay race in the World Cup, in which he was eighth with the Belarusian relay. In Kontiolahti , he improved his best performance in a sprint race to 24th place.
