Alkenones
The alkenones are derived specifically and structurally directly from the alkenes and the ketones ; H. the compounds contain a keto group and a C = C double bond and straight or branched alkyl groups . They do not contain any other heteroatoms or further multiple bonds . They are therefore a subgroup of the enones .
The C = C double bond can be located directly on the keto group, then one speaks of α, β-unsaturated ketones. But you can also stand isolated from it.
Typical representatives
- The butenone ( methyl vinyl ketone ) is the simplest representative.
- 1-penten-3-one , 3-penten-2-one
