All-Burma Students' Democratic Front

The All-Burma Students' Democratic Front (ABSDF) is a resistance group against the military regime in Myanmar , former Burma.

The group was founded in November 1988 in Yangon by exiled Burmese students after the riots in 1988 . The ABSDF has historically operated an armed arm that fought on the side of ethnic minority armies, particularly the Kachin Independent Army and the Karen National Union, against the Burmese military regime under the State Council for Peace and Development (SPDC).
