Alloclita delozona is a butterfly ( moth ) from the family of cosmopterigidae (Cosmopterigidae).

features

The moths reach a wingspan of 11 to 13 millimeters. The head shimmers pale brown, the antennae are ringed ocher white and dark brown. Thorax and tegulae are pale brown. The forewings are yellowish white, the first fifth is speckled dark brown and reddish brown. In the middle of the wing there is a broad, dark gray, shiny band, it is constricted and bordered by dark brown and reddish brown scales . The apical area has a dark gray sheen and sometimes has a white spot at the extreme tip. The fringed scales are pale gray, more ocher at the base and mixed with dark brown scales. The hind wings shine white and are ocher colored towards the wing tip. There are ocher-gray scales at the ends of the veins. The fringed scales are ocher gray. The females are usually darker than the males.

In the males, the brachium is slightly longer than the tegumen and slightly curved apically . The blades are quite narrow. The valvellae are long, slender and club-shaped.

In the females, the Apophyses posteriores are a quarter longer than the Apophyses posteriores. The ostium has a large X-shaped sclerotization. The ductus bursae is about eight times as long as the corpus bursae and runs in a few turns. The corpus bursae is provided with indistinct crest structures and two sickle-shaped and thorny signs.

Alloclita delozona is native to the Near and Middle East from Egypt to India .

The biology of the species is unknown. Butterflies were collected in Saudi Arabia from February to March.
