The Alloheim seniors residences SE , based in Dusseldorf is a privately held operator of senior citizens' and nursing homes.

history

The company was founded in 1973 by Alois Mollik; at that time he opened the first old people's home in Bad Marienberg . In 2008 the company was transformed into Alloheim Senioren-Residenzen GmbH and received new sponsorship with the purchase by the private equity investor Star Capital Partners .

Alloheim has grown continuously since it was founded in the early 1970s. On the one hand, the group built new old people's and nursing homes and on the other hand also took over existing houses. When Star Capital Partners joined, 13 old people's and nursing homes were part of the operator's portfolio.

Larger growth spurts were:

  • November 2014 (retrospectively): 15 nursing homes from Procon Trust Invest GmbH based in Wiesbaden
  • January 2016 (retrospectively): 48 Senator Group locations
  • July 2016 (retrospectively): 14 locations of the AGO Group
  • January 2017 (retrospectively): 12 Senterra AG locations

After the acquisition of Senterra AG, the Alloheim Group operated 19,700 care beds and apartments for assisted living. In 2018, the Alloheim Group comprised more than 155 nursing homes , 27 facilities with assisted living and 13 outpatient care services .

At the beginning of 2018, Stuttgarter Zeitung and ZDF Frontal21 reported on grievances in old people's homes of the Alloheim chain.
